This Privacy Policy explains in detail how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your personal information when you use our website (restaurantapp.in) or access our services via our Android WebView application.

- Restaurant Location & Details: Physical address, city, state, country, and postal code of your restaurant.
- Credentials: Passwords and security pin codes for staff logins.

B. Transactional & Operations Data
To enable the operations of your POS, we capture data relating to your day-to-day transactions:
- Menu items, categories, pricing, and stock details.
- Order receipts, bills, Kot (Kitchen Order Tickets), tax configurations, and discount details.
- Sales summaries, payment modes selected (cash, card, UPI), and waiter performance logs.
C. Device & Technical Usage Data
When you access the platform (especially via our Android Webview Application), we collect technical telemetry to ensure stability and compatibility:
- Device Attributes: Operating system version, screen resolution, device brand, and model.
- Log Data: Internet Protocol (IP) address, network status, browser type, pages visited within our app, time spent on those pages, and other diagnostic data.
- App State Info: Background states, view loading speeds, and crash logs to diagnose errors in the Android app.
2. How We Use the Collected Data
We use the gathered information for various business and operational purposes:
- To Provide and Maintain Our Service: Including managing restaurant logins, processing orders, and serving customer menus.
- To Process Payments & Billing: Facilitating secure transaction checkouts. We do not store raw card numbers; financial transactions are securely processed by integrated payment providers.
- To Communicate With You: Sending verification codes, account activations, transaction receipts, and system support responses.
- To Optimize WebView App Performance: Tailoring styles, managing screen orientation changes, and facilitating printing interfaces natively.
- To Prevent Fraud & Secure Accounts: Monitoring unauthorized logins or illegal actions to protect your database assets.
3. Sharing of Information
We prioritize the privacy of your data and do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may disclose your information under the following circumstances:

5. Data Retention & Deletion Rights
We retain your personal and operational data only for as long as is necessary to provide the POS services. You have the right to request deletion of your account and personal data at any time.

Upon receiving your verified request, we will delete or anonymize all personal data associated with your restaurant profile within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain specific historical billing logs.
6. Google Play Store Policy Compliance
As this platform is wrapped inside an Android WebView container for the Google Play Store, we verify the following:
- No Background Surveillance: The application does not monitor your location, collect device contacts, or record background conversations.
- Device Permissions: We only request camera permissions for QR scanning, and storage access for uploading restaurant graphics or logo images, only when explicitly initiated by the user.
- Printing Access: Our customized print adapters securely forward invoice details to system printers in accordance with standard Android print framework guidelines.
7. Security of Your Data
The security of your data is important to us. We employ standard technical and administrative safeguards, including SSL encryption (HTTPS) for all API requests and logins. However, please remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
